I love this so much – I’m writing up as I eat it! Oh my sweet breakfast Goddess of loveliness but this is GOOD beyond counting calories or points or syns. If loving this is wrong – I don’t wanna be right.
If you are an oats purist you will flinch at my ingredients and my method. I feel bad for ya darlin’ – you are missing the good shit … just think of it as brown splodge and then your pure heart will be eased and your tummy will be so happy you’ll swear it’s smiling.

I’m using emoticons I’m so exstatic. It’s the chocolate.
1/3 cup oats or 30gms – I use Flahavans – it’ll work with your fave brand.
1/3 cup water and 1/3 cup almond milk – or all milk or all water – whatever you like.
Small handful of frozen cherries
1 just heaped tsp very good cacao powder – 70% at least.
Optional 1 tsp not Whole Earth’s newish peanut butter with sunflower, pumpkin & flaxseed.
Mix the chocolate powder with the oats & then add the water/almond milk. Not as I did it by addding the choccy powder last – that way messy madness lies. It works mind.
Sling in the cherries and slice in your half a banana.
Old skool oaters look away now.
Microwave that sucker for 2 mins.
Take it out and keep stirring to thicken it – add your optional PNB spread or nut butter – or Greek Yogurt – maybe some more frozen cherries to cool it down fast.
Now tell me that isn’t bloody amazing. I won’t believe you.
Use proper cacao powder with no added sugar – not the Cadburys drinking chocolate or similar you are not six.
You can use fresh cherries in season or other fresh or frozen berries – but cherries s and chocolate. Whah whah whah!
Use up your over ripe bananas*
*no such thing as an unusable banana just banana owners with no imagination.
